What’s the best time for a woman to quit smoking? Now—even if she’s already pregnant. Your gift will support programs to help moms go smoke-free and give their babies a healthier start.

Smoking during pregnancy increases the risk of many serious complications, from premature labor to a devastating stillbirth. Luckily, there are benefits to quitting at any stage. We encourage moms to make that positive choice. And we empower them to succeed.

So can you. Your gift will provide smoking cessation support during prenatal care and through March of Dimes’ community health partners. We train providers to deliver effective interventions. We fund proven programs that motivate moms to quit smoking—and we support them through the challenge of going smoke-free.
